      Myrl Williams, 93, of Marlin passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, in Round Rock, Texas. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Adams Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clement Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

 

     Mrs. Williams was born March 17, 1913, in Maysfield, Texas, to A. L. and Jody Collier. She married Millard Williams in Marlin in 1935 where they lived all their married life.

 

     They were members of the First Baptist Church. During those years Myrl spent her time doing what she loved most; gardening, sewing, and raising her daughters while Millard owned and operated Williams Feed Store.

 

     Myrl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Millard; her parents, A. L. and Jody Collier; daughters, Carolyn Hejtmancik and infant daughter, Mary Helen Williams; sisters, Myrtis Drake and Adis Brown; and brother, Paige Collier.

 

     She is survived by daughter, Kathy Williams Horton of Marlin; granddaughter, Diane Rankin and husband, Dr. Doug Rankin of Buda, Texas; grandson, Kevin Hejtmancik of Bastrop, Texas; son-in-law, Lynn Hejtmancik. She was also blessed with four great- granddaughters and seven great-great-grandchildren.

 

     Diane Rankin's devotion to her grandmother was extraordinary.

 

     Pallbearers will be Lynn Hejtmancik, Les Markum, Rick Miles, Mike Williams, Kevin Hejtmancik, Doug Rankin.
